Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Warranty Insider website and quizzes. By using them you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are, and what we are not

Warranty Insider ("we", "us", "our") is the brand behind the warranty quizzes on this site.

We are a marketing and lead-generation service. We are not a warranty provider, an insurer, an insurance agent or broker, or a warranty administrator. We do not sell, issue, underwrite, price, administer or adjudicate warranty or service contracts. We do not decide whether you are eligible for coverage, what your coverage costs, what it covers, or whether a claim is paid. Those decisions belong entirely to the provider you choose to deal with.

2. We are paid by the providers

The warranty companies we introduce you to pay us. That is how the service is free to you. That compensation may affect which providers we present and the order in which we present them. We do not search the whole market and we do not claim to. Our quizzes are not impartial advice, a recommendation, an insurance quotation, or a statement that a particular provider is best for you.

3. What happens when you submit the form

When you complete a quiz and submit your details:

• We pass your information to one or more warranty providers or their authorised marketing partners, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• If you ticked the consent box, those companies may contact you by telephone, text message and email, including using automated dialling and prerecorded, artificial or AI-generated voice messages, at the number you gave us.
• You are not required to consent, and you are not required to buy anything. You can withdraw consent at any time — reply STOP to a text, tell a caller to stop calling, or contact us. Any reasonable method works and we will action it within 10 business days.
• Submitting the form does not create coverage, is not an application, is not a quote, and is not an offer or acceptance of anything.

4. Accuracy of what you tell us

You agree that the information you give us is your own, is accurate, and that the telephone number you give us is a number you are authorised to receive calls and texts on. Please do not submit anyone else's details.

5. Provider offers, prices and third-party content

Any price, discount, coverage detail, rating, offer deadline or provider claim shown on this site comes from the provider or a third party and is subject to change by them at any time. It is not a guarantee by us, it is not an offer we can honour, and it may not be available to you. Coverage is subject to the provider's own contract, terms, exclusions, waiting periods and eligibility rules — read them before you buy.

Some pages contain content supplied by or about third parties. We do not control it and we do not adopt it as our own.

6. No professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, insurance or tax advice. Please take your own advice before buying a warranty or service contract.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not use this site to break the law, to submit automated or bulk submissions, to scrape it, to attack it or attempt to gain unauthorised access, to submit someone else's personal information without their permission, or to interfere with anyone else's use of it.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its text, layout and design are owned by us or our licensors. You may use them to take a quiz. Please do not copy, republish or reuse them commercially without our written permission. Provider names, logos and marks belong to their owners and are used to identify them.

9. Disclaimer and limits on our liability

We provide this site "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any information on it is complete or current.

We are not responsible for what a warranty provider does. That includes how it contacts you, what it sells you, what it charges you, whether it pays a claim, and how it handles your information once we have passed it on. Your dealings with a provider are between you and that provider.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this site; and our total liability to you for any claim relating to this site is limited to US $100.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or from your submitting information you were not entitled to submit.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and the changed terms apply from then. If you keep using the site you accept them.

12. Contact

How to reach us. We are finalising the postal address and email address for privacy requests and will publish them in this policy before this site accepts live traffic. In the meantime, the fastest way to stop being contacted is to reply STOP to any text message, or to tell any caller to stop calling — we treat either as a request that covers every channel, and we pass it on to the provider we introduced you to.
